Why it’s good for detoxification
Turkey provides protein and amino acids used throughout normal liver metabolism.
Savoy cabbage is particularly relevant because it’s a cruciferous vegetable.
Its glucosinolates can produce compounds involved in the regulation of detoxification and antioxidant enzymes.
Garlic supplies additional sulphur-containing compounds.
The herbs, olives and cabbage also contribute antioxidant plant compounds.
