About Ryre

Hi, I’m Ryre

I’m a South African-born Nutritional Therapist, Health Coaching practitioner in training, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and Psychology graduate based in the UK. My career journey began in psychology and biochemistry, but over time evolved into a much broader passion: helping individuals understand the connection between nutrition, stress, hormones, and long-term health.

My interest in health began early. Growing up, I was influenced by two very different but complementary perspectives. My father’s medical approach through his pharmacy and my mother’s work in movement therapy sparked a lifelong fascination with how the body and mind function together. After completing an Honours degree in Psychology and Biochemistry in South Africa, I worked across schools, hospitals, and corporate settings, supporting individuals from all walks of life through a variety of physical and mental health challenges.

While supporting others, I was also navigating my own health struggles. Years of chronic stress eventually led to adrenal burnout, anxiety, severe gut issues and hormonal imbalances. Despite my background in healthcare, I found myself searching for answers beyond simply managing symptoms. Working with a Nutritional Therapist was a turning point. Understanding the root causes behind my symptoms and learning how to support my body through nutrition and lifestyle changes transformed not only my health, but my quality of life. It gave me back a sense of control and ultimately inspired a complete career change.

In 2013, I qualified with an MSc in Nutritional Therapy from CNELM (Middlesex University). Since then, I have continued my professional development in Functional Medicine, Fertility Nutrition, and Health Coaching, allowing me to take an integrated, root-cause approach to health.

Today, my work focuses on clinical nutrition, nervous system support, and lifestyle medicine for individuals experiencing stress-related, hormone-related, and fertility health challenges. I have a particular interest in helping individuals recover from burnout, build resilience, restore energy, optimise hormonal health, and support fertility, preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum wellbeing. By taking a personalised, root-cause approach, I help clients create a stronger foundation for both their current health and their future health goals.

If you’re feeling like this, you’re not alone

You might be:

  • Constantly pushing through work and life but feeling exhausted underneath it all
  • Struggling with energy, focus, motivation, or mental clarity
  • Feeling overwhelmed and unable to properly switch off
  • Noticing changes in your sleep, mood, or hormones
  • Trying to balance your health alongside work, family life, or fertility goals
  • Wondering why your body isn’t responding the way it used to

These symptoms are rarely random. They are often linked to the complex relationship between stress, lifestyle demands, nutrition, hormones, and nervous system function.

Rather than looking at symptoms in isolation, I take a personalised approach that considers the whole picture. Together, we’ll explore the underlying factors contributing to your symptoms and develop a practical, achievable plan that supports meaningful and lasting change.

Areas I Commonly Support

  • Fertility, preconception care, and IVF support
  • Burnout and chronic stress
  • Nervous system dysregulation and resilience
  • Hormonal imbalances across all life stages
  • Fatigue, low energy, and disrupted sleep
  • Pregnancy preparation and postpartum recovery
  • Perimenopause and menopause
  • Digestive and gut health concerns
  • Anxiety, overwhelm, and stress-related symptoms
  • Adrenal and thyroid health
  • PCOS and endometriosis
  • Cognitive health, mood, and emotional wellbeing

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is supporting people through fertility, pregnancy, and family life. As a mother of two, I have witnessed first-hand the impact that personalised nutrition and lifestyle changes can have on both parents and children. Whether we’re addressing nutrient deficiencies, improving egg and sperm health, exploring microbiome testing, or navigating more complex health concerns, my goal is always the same: to help you feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the process.

I believe everyone deserves to feel well, resilient, and confident in their health choices. My role is to cut through the confusion, help you understand what’s driving your symptoms, and provide a clear roadmap forward.

By combining Nutritional Therapy, Functional Medicine, Coaching and Psychology, I am able to look at your health from multiple perspectives, considering factors such as diet, lifestyle, stress, emotional wellbeing, environment, and individual biology.

Together, we can move beyond guesswork, restore balance, and help you thrive.
