This test is recommended for people who:

The Mercury Toxicity Test measures:

• Blood levels of methylmercury, inorganic mercury and total mercury
• Urine levels of methylmercury, inorganic mercury and total mercury
• Hair levels of total mercury

The blood results give an indication of how much of each type of mercury is in your body.

The urine results give an indication of your body’s ability to get rid of inorganic mercury.

The hair results give an indication of your body’s ability to get rid of methylmercury.

The Mercury Toxicity Test requires:

• An untreated hair sample
• A morning urine sample
• A blood sample taken by a phlebotomist

The test requires the client to undertake a restrictive diet 24 hours prior to undertaking the test. It is broken down into 2 stages; 12 hours of controlled diet followed by 12 hours fasting. Full details are provided with the test kit.

   Once you’ve collected your sample, simply return it to the lab. Your sample needs to be sent using guaranteed next-day delivery or via courier Mon-Thurs (not included in price).
4. Analysis and Result Interpretation
   Once processed, your results will be sent to us. We can then provide you with this information directly.
