This test is designed for babies and children aged 0–18 years, with two age-specific versions:

• 0–3 years (Baby Gut Health Test)

• 4–18 years (Child Gut Health Test)

It’s suitable for children who:

• Experience colic, reflux, eczema, allergies, asthma, or frequent infections

• Were born via C-section or received early antibiotics

• Show signs of digestive or immune imbalance (e.g. gas, constipation, poor sleep)

• Have a family history of gut or immune issues

• Are using or being considered for probiotics

• Need insight into microbial transfer (seeding) from mother to baby

Using deep-shotgun metagenomics, this test analyses over 120,000 microbes, including:

• Candida, parasites, and bacteria linked to inflammation

• Microbial patterns linked to eczema, allergies, asthma, and gut-related symptoms

• Microbial diversity and seeding from mother to baby

• Beneficial vs. disruptive microbes

• Gut inflammation, SCFAs, enzymes, and metabolite profiles

The baby gut health test includes infant-specific markers like:

• HMO-digesting species

• Microbiome maturation index

• C-section signature

The child gut health test (ages 3–18) includes markers for:

• Fibre and sugar digestion

A stool sample is required using a Copan 4N6 swab.
The kit includes full instructions and all necessary materials.

Approximately 21 working days from the receipt of the sample.

• If using probiotics, you may pause them for 3–5 days before collecting the sample, but this is optional.

• Do not take antibiotics for at least 4 weeks prior to the test.

• Newborns must be at least 7 days old before testing.

• Avoid aspirin for 2 days before collecting the sample.

• Never stop prescribed medications unless advised by your doctor.

2. Collect Your Sample at Home
   Every test comes with clear instructions on how to collect your samples.
3. Return Your Test
   Once you’ve collected your sample, simply return it to the lab using the prepaid shipping label included in your kit. Your samples need to be sent guaranteed next day delivery or via courier please do not send samples on a Friday.
4. Analysis and Result Interpretation
   Once processed, your results will be sent to us. We can then provide you with this information directly.
