Ingredients

  • 500g turkey mince

  • 1 courgette, grated

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • ½ cup gluten-free oats

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients, shape into balls.

  2. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Why it’s good for mental health:
Turkey contains tryptophan, a serotonin precursor, while oats provide complex carbs to help serotonin reach the brain.
