The NeuroAdvanced Profile measurers neurotransmitters in individuals with a potential neurochemical imbalance. The test can help determine individual biochemistry and get to the root of chronic problems such as mood / affective disorders, adrenal dysfunction, addictive behaviours, ADD or OCD, or PMS or PMDD. Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that the nervous system uses to transfer information between nerves. An optimal balance of neurotransmitters is required to maintain proper health. Imbalances may cause over-or under-stimulation of the brain and body, causing neurological or psychological symptoms.
Genetics, the environment, chemicals, and dietary deficiencies are a few factors that can influence the development of neurotransmitters.
