Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears, peeled
- 1½ cups water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
Method
- Combine water, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Add the pears and gently poach for 20–25 minutes until soft.
- Remove the pears and reduce the liquid to a syrup.
- Serve the pears warm with syrup and pistachios sprinkled on top.
