Ingredients
- 2 organic turkey thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 courgettes, sliced
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Rub turkey thighs with olive oil, herbs, and salt.
- Place in a baking dish and roast for 35–40 minutes.
- Steam sliced courgettes for 5–7 minutes until tender.
- Serve turkey alongside steamed courgettes.
Why this is good for lowering histamine:
Organic turkey is a fresh, low-histamine protein. Thyme and oregano are naturally anti-inflammatory and may help modulate histamine response.
