Herb-Rubbed Organic Turkey Thigh with Steamed Courgettes

Ingredients

  • 2 organic turkey thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 courgettes, sliced

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Rub turkey thighs with olive oil, herbs, and salt.
  3. Place in a baking dish and roast for 35–40 minutes.
  4. Steam sliced courgettes for 5–7 minutes until tender.
  5. Serve turkey alongside steamed courgettes.

 

Why this is good for lowering histamine:
Organic turkey is a fresh, low-histamine protein. Thyme and oregano are naturally anti-inflammatory and may help modulate histamine response.
