Why it’s good for detoxification
Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable containing glucosinolates.
These plant compounds can form substances that influence enzymes involved in normal detoxification processes.
Eggs provide choline, while garlic and onion provide sulphur-containing compounds.
Chickpeas contribute fibre, supporting the digestive route through which processed waste products can leave the body.
So this recipe supports several stages rather than focusing upon one supposed “detox ingredient”.
