Ingredients

  • 500g beef strips

  • 2 tbsp tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 broccoli head, cut into florets

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

Method

  1. Marinate beef in tamari for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat sesame oil in a wok, add garlic and ginger, sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Add beef, stir-fry until browned.

  4. Add broccoli and bell pepper, cook until tender-crisp.

  5. Serve hot.

Why it’s good:
High in protein and fibre, this dish is a nutritious alternative to takeaway stir-fries.
